Immersive EdTech Development | JavaScript, C4D, Unreal Engine & Real-Time 3D Pioneered a suite of interactive educational tools blending gaming engagement with academic rigor for one of Australia’s top universities. The project redefined how students interact with course material through two ground breaking solutions: Key Contributions: Interactive Gaming Map: Engineered a virtual campus environment in Unreal Engine, integrating JavaScript-driven puzzles and challenges tied to curriculum objectives. Students explore and collaborate in real-time, turning abstract concepts into hands-on learning. Live Facial Capture Avatar: Designed a 3D character using Unreal Engine’s MetaHuman framework, synced with live facial motion capture to enable real-time audience interaction. The avatar responds dynamically to user input, mimicking human expressions and vocal cues for immersive role-play scenarios. Strategic Impact: The tools transformed passive learning into dynamic experiences, increasing student engagement by bridging gaming mechanics with pedagogy. The avatar system, in particular, became a prototype for future AI-driven tutoring applications.
